The Diploma programme is affiliated with Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad and follows a progressive academic structure that enables students to develop their skills step by step. The aim is not simply to memorise and recite poetry, but to understand the words, interpret their meaning and bring the emotions of the poem alive through voice and performance. Junior Diploma The Junior Diploma programme introduces young learners to the fundamentals of poetry recitation while helping them develop a strong foundation in language, voice and presentation. Levels PP 1 PP 2 PP 3 Junior 1st Year At these levels, students progressively develop correct pronunciation, diction, articulation, speech clarity, voice projection, modulation, rhythm, pace and pauses. They also learn memorisation, interpretation, emotional expression and stage presentation. The training encourages children to become confident speakers while developing an appreciation for poetry and literature. The Junior Diploma is designed to make learning engaging and enjoyable while gradually introducing students to the discipline required for performing on stage and before an audience. Senior Diploma Learners who wish to continue their formal journey in poetry recitation can progress to the Senior Diploma levels. These advanced stages focus on greater maturity in interpretation, expression and performance. Levels Visharad Ratna Mani At the senior level, students move beyond basic recitation to explore the deeper dimensions of poetry. Training focuses on sophisticated voice modulation, emotional depth, literary interpretation, characterisation, rhythm, stage presence and individual performance style.
